I've had a lot of emails asking how I made the background of Photoshop black. 

So rather than repeating myself in loads of different emails I thought I would put it here.

The black background is caused by the theme that I use in Windows.

Read on if you just want to apply it to your theme instead of a whole new theme.

• Right Click on the Desktop

• Select Properties

• Click the Appearances tab

• Then click Advanced

• From the Item List select Application Background

• Then set the colour to whatever you want it to be.
