Stone Text

This tutorial with guide you through how to text to a stone:

1.

Open Photoshop and open a document of with a stone in it. I am using this one:

Type your text using whatever font you want:

text on stone

I am using a font called Base 02, which can be downloaded from Da Font

3.

Ctrl + Click the text layers to make a selection of them. Click the stone layer and press Ctrl + J. Now you can hide or delete the text layers.

You will now have what appears to be a blank stone like what we started with.

4.

Right Click the Layer we just made from duplicating the stone layer and select Blending Options.

innershadow

Colour set to #000000

outerglow

Color set to #515151

bevel and emboss

5.

You should now have something like this:

finished

You can even use this technique for images too.
