Transparent Images using Alpha Channel

This tutorial with guide you through how to make transparent images using the alpha channel.

1.Open Photoshop and create a new image or open an existing image that you wish to make transparent areas.
2.Ctrl + Click all the preview images in the layers panel of everything you wish to include in your alpha channel to select them all.
3.Switch to the channels panel and click the Save Selection as Channel
4.

In your channels panel you should have an Alpha channel, the white areas are the areas that will show, the black area will be transparent.

When you save the file make sure you have save alpha channels selected.
