Website Sidebars This tutorial with guide you through how to make sidebars for your website:
| 1. | Open Photoshop and open an image of your choice. I am using this scene from one of the Microsoft Windows Media Video High Definition videos. Download Image |
| 2. | Select the Rectangle Marquee Tool  |
| 3. | Set these settings in the top toolbar.
Change the 75px to the width you want your sidebars. |
| 4. | Click somewhere on your image. You will notice it draws a small line on your image. This is the fixed size we specified.

| 5. | Press Ctrl + J to duplicate the selection in to a new layer. |
| 6. | Press Ctrl + T to transform the new layer.

| 7. | Pull the top up. You should get something like this:

| 8. | Press Ctrl + A to select the whole canvas then press Ctrl + C Open up your template or create a new template. Press Ctrl + V to paste it in then transform it so its the right size. Then duplicate and flip horizontally for the other side.
