Saving an image for your website

This tutorial with guide you through how to make save a photo so that its small enough to fit on your website:

Finished Image

1.

Open Photoshop and open your image. I am using this photo of some art from "BIG CHICK"

2.

Edit the photo if you need to then go to File » Save for Web

3.

On the right hand side click Image Size.

Save For Web

I've used JPEG High but you can use a different settings.

4.

For the width change it to whatever you want it to be to fit on your site:

ImageSize

If you have Constrain Proportions ticked it will automatically change the height.

5.

Click Save type a new filename and press Save again.

Now you have a smaller picture that is web friendly.
